NEIGHBORHOOD & COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMITTEE Chairperson Stacey Streetman 1. Chairperson Streetman shared that the FY23/24 CDBG Block Grant application will close on Tuesday, January 10. PARKS & RECREATION COMMITTEE Chairperson Travis Holleman 1. Chairperson Holleman reported on upcoming events. PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE Chairperson Travis Holleman 1. Department Reports: Chairperson Holleman reported that CPD responded to 11,263 calls, which is about average or a month. He also said CPD is hiring and currently 40 officers short. Building and Codes had 2,137 inspections, 124 new Code Enforcement cases and 11 Abatement cases. They processed 19 single family and 2 multi-family and 22 9  commercial permits. CFR responded to 1,721 calls - 67.75% of calls were rescue/medical. TRANSPORTATION-STREETS-GARAGE COMMITTEE Chairperson Wanda Smith 1. Chairperson Smith reported that transit transported 38,999 passengers for the month of December; 5,946 total senior citizens were transported. The Street Department completed 243 work orders and 481 limb pickups. MAYOR AND COUNCIL MEMBER COMMENTS 1.
