GAS & WATER COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES January 23, 2020 Scheduled for adoption February 20, 2020 Clarksville Gas & Water Conference Room 3:45 p.m. MEMBERS PRESENT Chairman Valerie Guzman, Gary Norris, Ron Erb, Tim Chandler MEMBERS ABSENT David Allen OTHERS PRESENT Mark Riggins, Fred Klein, Camille Thomas, Mandy Phillips The meeting was called to order at 3:46 p.m. by Chairman Valerie Guzman. Minutes for the October 24, 2019 and December 12, 2019 committee meetings were unanimously approved. Bad Debt was reported by Fred Klein by explaining the write-off report for the month of December 2019. Fred Klein also reported the Financials for the month of December 2019. Camille Thomas reported the Bid-Summary for the month. Camille Thomas also reported the following professional services:  Fee Increase for Additional Flow Monitoring Services from ADS Environmental Services (1st Contract Renewal) in the amount of $58,200.00. Mark Riggins presented and discussed the department reports included in the packet along with an expanded report to include the current and upcoming projects. Mark Riggins also presented the committee with an update on the FEMA reimbursement. Mark Riggins requested approval of utility easement for the Trenton Road and Meriwether Road Intersection Project in the amount of $8,996. Tim Chandler made a motion for approval, Ron Erb seconded it, and the same passed unanimously. RESOLUTION 41-2019-20 Authorizing an interlocal agreement between the City of Clarksville and East Montgomery Utility District. Gary Norris mad a motion for approval, Tim Chandler seconded it, and the same passed unanimously to full City Council. RESOLUTION 42-2019-20 Authorizing an interlocal agreement between the City of Clarksville and the Todd County Fiscal Court. Ron Erb mad a motion for approval, Gary Norris seconded it, and the same passed unanimously to full City Council. The meeting was adjourned at 4:45 p.m.
