MINUTES CITY OF CLEARLAKE CITY COUNCIL & REDEVELOPMENT SUCCESSOR AGENCY SPECIAL MEETING MARCH 21, 2013 CALL TO ORDER SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING: 6:00 P.M. Roll Call. Present: Jeri Spittler, Mayor Denise Loustalot, Vice Mayor Gina Fortino Dickson, Councilmember Joey Luiz, Councilmember Joyce Overton, Councilmember Staff: Joan Phillipe, City Manager Melissa Swanson, City Clerk BUSINESS 1. Consideration of Appointment of Three Planning Commissioners for Four Year Terms Ending March 11, 2017 The Council asked questions of the applicants. The applicants were as follows: Robert Coker Cheryl Hutchinson William Morgan Karen Priest Bruno Sabatier Dirk Slooten Michael Vandiver Carl Webb Charles O’Neill Jones Bill Perkins (not present) Jason Tapia (not present) ACTION: It was moved by Council Member Overton and seconded by Council Member Fortino Dickson to appoint Cheryl Hutchinson to the Planning Commission for a four year term ending in March 2017. The motion passed with a voice vote of 5-0. ACTION: It was moved by Council Member Fortino Dickson and seconded by Council Member Luiz to appoint Carl Webb to the Planning Commission for a four year term ending in March 2017. The motion passed with a voice vote of 5-0. ACTION: It was moved by Council Member Luiz and seconded by Council Member Overton to appoint Bill Perkins to the Planning Commission for a four year term ending in March 2017.
