MINUTES CITY OF CLEARLAKE CITY COUNCIL & REDEVELOPMENT SUCCESSOR AGENCY SPECIAL MEETING DECEMBER 18, 2014 CALL TO ORDER SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING: 9:00 A.M. Roll Call. Present: Denise Loustalot, Mayor Joey Luiz, Councilmember Jeri Spittler, Councilmember Joyce Overton, Councilmember Absent: Gina Fortino Dickson, Vice Mayor Staff: Melissa Swanson, City Clerk Craig Clausen, Chief of Police Chris Becnel, Director of Finance Doug Herren, Director of Public Works BUSINESS 1. Ratification of the Proclamation by the Director of Emergency Services Declaring a Local Emergency in Relation to the Rainstorm of December 11, 2014 Director of Public Works Herren gave the staff report and an update on the aftermath of the rainstorm. ACTION: It was moved by Councilmember Luiz and seconded by Councilmember Overton to ratify proclamation and set next review of said proclamation for the January 8, 2015 regular Council meeting. The motion passed with a 4-0-1 roll call vote, with Vice Mayor Fortino Dickson absent. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to conduct, the meeting was adjourned at 9:05 A.M.
