PUBLIC COMMENT
Sheryl Almon spoke regarding code enforcement priorities.
Consent Items Recommended Action
1. Warrant Registers Receive and file
2. Maintenance Worker I/II Approve amended Job Classification
ACTION: It was moved by Councilmember Sabatier and seconded by Councilmember Overton to
approve the Consent Calendar as presented. The motion passed with a unanimous voice vote,
with Vice Mayor Fortino Dickson absent.
PUBLIC HEARING
3. Sign Ordinance – Consider Amendments to Clearlake Municipal Code Sections 2-2 (“Elections”)
and 18-5 (“Signs”) pertaining to signage.
City Manager Folsom and City Attorney Jones gave the staff report.
Mayor Perdock opened the Public Hearing at 6:12 p.m.
There was no public comment
ACTION: It was moved by Councilmember Overton and seconded by Councilmember Bennett to
close the Public Hearing. The motion passed with a unanimous voice vote, with Vice Mayor
Fortino Dickson absent, at 6:13 p.m.
ACTION: It was moved by Councilmember Overton and seconded by Councilmember Sabatier
hold the first reading of Ordinance No. 190-2016 Amending Section 2-2 (“Elections”) and Section
18-5 (“Signs”) of the Clearlake Municipal Code; Vote to Waive Reading of Entire Ordinance and
read it by Title Only. The motion passed with a unanimous roll call vote, with Vice Mayor Fortino
Dickson absent.
BUSINESS
4. Chamber Lease – Consideration of Agreement with Clearlake Chamber of Commerce for Use of
Office Space at Community Center
City Manager Folsom gave the staff report.

ACTION: It was moved by Councilmember Overton and seconded by Councilmember Bennett to
adopt the agreement. The motion passed with a unanimous roll call vote, with Vice Mayor
Fortino Dickson absent.
5. Consideration of Designation of Voting Delegates and Alternates for the League of California
Cities Annual Conference in October
City Manager Folsom gave the staff report.
ACTION: It was moved by Councilmember Overton and seconded by Councilmember Bennett to
designate Mayor Perdock as the voting delegate and Councilmember Sabatier as the alternate.
The motion passed with a unanimous roll call vote, with Vice Mayor Fortino Dickson absent.
CITY MANAGER AND COUNCILMEMBER REPORTS
FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS
ACTION: Councilmember Sabatier asked for and received consensus for a report on red-tagged
homes that are bank-owned and the process for tax sales on those homes.
