MINUTES CITY OF CLEARLAKE CITY COUNCIL & REDEVELOPMENT SUCCESSOR AGENCY SPECIAL MEETING MAY 3, 2017 CALL TO ORDER SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING: 5:30 P.M. Roll Call. Present: Russell Perdock, Mayor Nick Bennett, Councilmember Phil Harris, Councilmember Joyce Overton, Councilmember Absent: Bruno Sabatier, Vice Mayor Staff: Greg Folsom, City Manager Tim Celli, Police Lieutenant Melissa Swanson, City Clerk Chris Becnel, Director of Finance Doug Herren, Public Works Director BUSINESS 1. Consideration of Award of Bid for Construction on the Phillips and 18th Avenue Class II Bicycle Lanes and Road Rehabilitation Project Public Works Director Herren gave the staff report. ACTION: It was moved by Council Member Harris and seconded by Council Member Overton to award the bid for construction on the Phillips and 18th Avenue Class II Bicycle Lanes and Road Rehabilitation Project to Team Ghilotti in the amount of $1,729,356.65; authorize the City Manager to execute the contract and approve change orders up to $50,000 over the original contract; and authorize up to $250,000 from Measure V funds for contingencies and change orders. The motion passed with a roll call vote of 4-0-1, with Vice Mayor Sabatier absent.
