MINUTES CITY OF CLEARLAKE CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING JULY 21, 2011 CALL TO ORDER SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING: 8:00 A.M. Special Meeting noticed July 20, 2011. Roll Call. Present: Joyce Overton, Mayor Joey Luiz, Vice Mayor Curt Giambruno, Councilmember Judy Thein, Councilmember Jeri Spittler, Councilmember Staff: Robert Galusha, Interim City Administrator Melissa Swanson, City Clerk BUSINESS 1. Consideration of City Purchase of Property Located at 13981 Morgan Avenue, Clearlake; Resolution No. 2011-14. Melissa Swanson gave the staff report. ACTION: It was moved by Council Member Spittler and seconded by Vice Mayor Luiz to approve Resolution No. 2011-14, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLEARLAKE ACQUIRING REAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTING TO RECORDATION (APN: 039-112-060 SHANDOR AND CYNTHIA SZENTKUTI); authorize the Interim City Administrator to execute the property transfer documents, and authorize the transfer of $74,750 from the general fund reserve to the general fund account. The motion passed with a 5-0 roll call vote. SPECIAL CLOSED SESSION 2. PUBLIC EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT – Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957: Title: City Administrator.
