MINUTES CITY OF CLEARLAKE CITY COUNCIL & REDEVELOPMENT SUCCESSOR AGENCY SPECIAL MEETING OCTOBER 18, 2017 CALL TO ORDER SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING: 4:30 P.M. Roll Call. Present: Russell Perdock, Mayor Bruno Sabatier, Vice Mayor Nick Bennett, Councilmember Phil Harris, Councilmember Absent: Joyce Overton, Councilmember Staff: Greg Folsom, City Manager Melissa Swanson, City Clerk BUSINESS: 1. Consideration of Approval of Appointment of the Lake County Health Officer to Act as the City’s Health Officer; Resolution No. 2017-79 City Manager Folsom gave the staff report. ACTION: It was moved by Councilmember Harris and seconded by Vice Mayor Sabatier to adopt Resolution No. 2017-79 appointing the City Health Officer. The motion passed with a unanimous roll call vote, with Councilmember Overton absent. 2. Consideration of Ratification of the Proclamation by the Lake County Health Officer Declaring a Local Health Emergency and Set Next Review of Said Proclamation for the November 9, 2017 Regular Council Meeting; Resolution No. 2017-80 City Manager Folsom gave the staff report. ACTION: It was moved by Vice Mayor Sabatier and seconded by Councilmember Harris to adopt Resolution No. 2017-80 ratifying the Proclamation by the Lake County Health Officer Declaring a Local Health Emergency and set next review of said proclamation for the November 9, 2017 regular Council meeting. The motion passed with a unanimous roll call vote, with Councilmember Overton absent.
