MINUTES CITY OF CLEARLAKE CITY COUNCIL & REDEVELOPMENT SUCCESSOR AGENCY SPECIAL MEETING JANUARY 4, 2018 CALL TO ORDER SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL & REDEVELOPMENT SUCCESSOR AGENCY MEETING: 6:00 P.M. Roll Call. Council Present: Bruno Sabatier, Mayor Phil Harris, Vice Mayor Nick Bennett, Councilmember Russell Perdock, Councilmember Absent: Joyce Overton, Councilmember Staff: Greg Folsom, City Manager Tim Celli, Interim Police Chief Melissa Swanson, City Clerk Doug Herren, Director of Public Works Chris Becnel, Director of Finance PUBLIC HEARING: 1. Public Hearing to Consider Approval of Resolution Approving the City of Clearlake’s Hazardous Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) Grant Application for the Creation of a Local Hazards Mitigation Plan and Direct Staff to Submit a Notice of Intent (NOI) to CalOES Director of Public Works Herren gave the staff report. Mayor Sabatier opened the Public Hearing at 6:03 p.m. There was no public comment. ACTION: It was moved by Councilmember Perdock and seconded by Councilmember Bennett to close the Public Hearing. The motion passed with a unanimous voice vote, with Councilmember Overton absent. ACTION: It was moved by Councilmember Bennett and seconded by Vice Mayor Harris to adopt Resolution No. 2018-01, A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Clearlake Authorizing the Notice of Interest for a Hazard Mitigation Grant Program Application for the Funding of a Local Hazards Mitigation Plan for the City of Clearlake.
