MINUTES CITY OF CLEARLAKE CITY COUNCIL & REDEVELOPMENT SUCCESSOR AGENCY SPECIAL MEETING JULY 3, 2018 CALL TO ORDER SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL & REDEVELOPMENT SUCCESSOR AGENCY MEETING: 1:00 P.M. Roll Call. Council Present: Bruno Sabatier, Mayor Nick Bennett, Councilmember Russ Cremer, Councilmember Joyce Overton, Councilmember Absent: Phil Harris, Vice Mayor Staff: Greg Folsom, City Manager Tina Viramontes, Deputy City Clerk Adeline Brown , Engineering Technician Alan Pyeatt, Contract City Engineer BUSINESS: 1. Consideration of Award of Construction Contract for the Dam Road Extension Project City Manager Folsom gave the staff report. ACTION: It was moved by Councilmember Cremer and seconded by Councilmember Overton to authorize the City Manager to enter into contract with Granite Construction for construction of the Dam Road Extension Project in the amount of $1,024,120.85 and authorize the City Manager to approve up to 10% for additional unforeseen contract amendments. The motion passed with a unanimous voice vote. 2. Consideration of Award of Contract for Inspection and Materials Testing for the Dam Road Extension Project City Manager Folsom gave the staff report. ACTION: It was moved by Councilmember Overton and seconded by Councilmember Bennett to authorize the City Manager to execute a contract with Green Valley Consulting Engineers for a not-to-exceed amount of $122,180 and authorize the City Manager to approve up to 10% in future contract amendments. The motion passed with a unanimous voice vote.
