MINUTES CITY OF CLEARLAKE CITY COUNCIL & REDEVELOPMENT SUCCESSOR AGENCY SPECIAL MEETING AUGUST 2, 2018 CALL TO ORDER SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL & REDEVELOPMENT SUCCESSOR AGENCY MEETING: 9:00 A.M. Roll Call. Council Present: Bruno Sabatier, Mayor Phil Harris, Vice Mayor Nick Bennett, Councilmember Russ Cremer, Councilmember Joyce Overton, Councilmember Staff: Greg Folsom, City Manager Alan Flora, Assistant City Manager Andrew White, Chief of Police Melissa Swanson, City Clerk BUSINESS: 1. Consideration of a Resolution of Opposition Against Proposition 6 City Manager Folsom gave the staff report. ACTION: It was the consensus of the Council to add a separate letter to the League of California Cities supporting changing the calculation formula to include more funding equity for smaller jurisdictions. ACTION: It was moved by Councilmember Overton and seconded by Councilmember Cremer to adopt Resolution No. 2018-31, A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Clearlake Opposing Proposition 6. The motion passed with a 4-1 roll call vote, with Councilmember Bennett against.
