MINUTES REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY OF CLEVELAND BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS TUESDAY, JUNE 13, 2017 AT 12:00 PM CLEVELAND MUNICIPAL BUILDING 190 CHURCH STREET NE The regular meeting of the Board of Zoning Appeals was called to order by Charlotte Peak, Chairman, at 12:01 P.M. Members present included Charlotte Peak, Clint Taylor, Dan Moore, Ed Brown and Ray Garner. There were no members absent. Staff present included Corey Divel, Senior Planner, Darla Jenkins, Executive Secretary, and Joe Fivas, City Manager. Legal Counsel present included John Kimball, Attorney for the City of Cleveland. Others present include Dustie Pankey, Angela Millard, and an unknown man. The minutes of the April 11, 2017 regular meeting were presented for approval. Clint Taylor made a motion to approve and Dan Moore seconded the motion. A vote of 5-0 passed the motion. There was no Public Hearings. There was no Old Business. In New Business, a. Request by Dustie Pankey for administrative review of interpretation by Development and Engineering staff regarding the definition of sex accessories outlets (pg1). Clint Taylor made a motion stating Corey Divel’s interpretation regarding the definition of sex accessories outlets was correct. Ray Garner seconded the motion. Voting to approve the interpretation of the Development and Engineering staff were Clint Taylor, Ray Garner, and Ed Brown. Voting not to approve the interpretation was Dan Moore and Charlotte Jones. In the Staff Report, Corey Divel asked members about a date for a called meeting. The commission members stated Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. would work for all the members. There was no Board Member Report. The meeting was adjourned at 12:26 P.M.
