Minutes SPECIAL CALLED MEETING CLEVELAND MUNICIPAL PLANNING COMMISSION TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 2018 AT 12:00PM CLEVELAND MUNICIPAL BUILDING 190 CHURCH STREET NE The special called meeting of the Cleveland Municipal Planning Commission was called to order by Dee Burris, Chairman, at 12:00 Noon. Members present included Bill Hamilton, Dee Burris, David May, Jr., Clarke Taylor, Larry Presswood, Gary Dennis, Walt Vineyard, Tricia Pennington, and Maryl Elliott. There were no members absent. Legal Counsel present included John Kimball, Attorney for the City of Cleveland. Staff present included Corey Divel, Senior Planner, Joe Fivas, City Manager, Jonathan Jobe, Director of Development & Engineering Services, and Darla Jenkins, Executive Secretary. Others present included Jack Chase. There were no minutes to approve as this was a called meeting. There was no Public Hearings. There were no items on the Consent Agenda. There was no Old Business. In New Business, a. Consideration of a rezoning request for property owned by Jimmie Chase for approximately .21 acres of property (Tax Map 49N Group J Parcel 18.00) located at 308 West Inman St from CBD Central Business District to MU Mixed Use Zoning District (pg1). David May, Jr. made a motion to approve and Bill Hamilton seconded the motion. A vote of 9-0 passed the motion. b. Consideration of a rezoning request by John Porte for approximately 2.6 acres of property (Tax Map 42 Parcel 22.03) located at 1405 Morrison Ln NE from IL Light Industry Zoning District to R2 Single and Multi-family Residential Zoning District (pg7). Tricia Pennington made a motion to approve and Gary Dennis seconded the motion. A vote of 9-0 passed the motion. There was no Chairman’s report. There is no Director’s Report. The meeting adjourned at 12:01 P.M.
