BOARD OF MANAGERS MEETING February 21, 2025 – 9:30 A.M. Council Chambers The meeting was called to order at 9:30 A.M. PRESENT: ALSO PRESENT: Mayor Keeler Sharon Butler Adam Biggs, Council President Shawn Higgins Michael Durocher, Comptroller George Soloyna Jim Bouchard, Treasurer Bill McCarthy Steve Hennessey, Commissioner OGS ABSENT: None Acceptance of a proposal from MJ Engineering and Land Surveying, P.C. for the design and construction engineering for the Route 32 Saratoga Street Culvert Project. Mayor Keeler made a MOTION to accept the proposal from MJ Engineering and Land Surveying, P.C. for the design and construction engineering for the Route 32 Saratoga Street Culvert project. President Adam Biggs seconded the motion. The motion passed. Steve Hennessey: I am declaring the filter bed media project at the filtration plant an Emergency. After the removal of the media, it has been determined that the filter bed is in worse shape than anticipated and is in need of a complete replacement. The city has gotten a quote from Keller for an emergency change order to complete the repairs. The repairs are essential to the operation of the filtration plant and should proceed immediately. At 9:36 AM, with no further business to come before the board, Michael Durocher made a MOTION to adjourn, seconded by Council President Biggs.
