MONTHLY MEETING OF THE COHOES CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION COHOES COMMON COUNCIL CHAMBERS MINUTES April 24, 2024 Present: Rose Vohs, Chairperson Sandy Bonkoski, Commissioner Kimberly Cardona, Commissioner (Absent) Reghan Phillips, Secretary to the Commission Meeting called to order by Sandy Bonkoski seconded by Rose Vohs at 4:32 p.m. REVIEW OF MINUTES – Monthly Meeting on 3/28/24 Sandy Bonkoski made the motion to approve the minutes as published. Rose Vohs seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. Amended – Rose Vohs was excused absent from meeting 3/28/24. Certification of Exam Results – Senior Typist Commissioner’s reviewed examination results. Rose Vohs made the motion to certify the examination results. Sandy Bonkoski seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. Upcoming Exams Police Sergeant - June 1, 2024 Fire Lieutenant - June 15, 2024 Fire Captain - June 15, 2024 School Safety Officer – July 13, 2024 New Business  FOIL request received, will be discussed with Counsel  Clerk of the Works – discission of temporary position at school district  Following Civil Service monthly meetings are as scheduled: 5/16/24 @ 4:30pm, 6/20/24 @ 4:30pm Motion to adjourn made by Sandy Bonkoski. Seconded by Rose Vohs. The meeting adjourned at 5:07p.m. Next monthly meeting scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on May 16, 2024. Commissioners will be notified pending quorum call.
