Prior to the Special Meeting, a Common Council Workshop was conducted.
Mayor Morse led in the Pledge of Allegiance at 7:50 PM
PUBLIC HEARINGS
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held by the Common Council of the City of
Cohoes on August 8, 2017 at 7:00 PM at the Common Council Chambers, Second Floor, City Hall,
Cohoes, New York, to consider a Resolution determining that a parcel of real property is not required
for use by the City and approving the transfer of title of such parcel of real property to the Cohoes
Local Development Corporation. The parcel of real property is Tax Map No. 10.67-2-223 (known as
179 Remsen Street).
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that, at that same time, the Common Council of the City of
Cohoes will also consider a resolution determining the transfer of the property to be a SEQRA Type II
action.
With no comments or questions, the public hearing was closed.

LOCAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
Council Member Russell made a MOTION to approve Resolution No. 63 seconded by Council President
Briggs. All members voted “AYE”. Resolution No. 63 for 2017 passed.
Council President Briggs, and Council Members Smith, Russell, McCarthy, Napier, and Koniowka
introduced Resolution No. 64 for the year 2017

Council Member Russell made a MOTION to approve Resolution No. 64, seconded by Council President
Briggs. All members voted “AYE”. Resolution No. 64 for 2017 passed.
Public Comment: NONE
At 7:55 PM, Council Member Russell made a MOTION to adjourn the meeting; Council Member Smith
seconded the motion. All members voted “AYE”.
