Public Comment:
Diana, Cataract St., “Again, I would like to talk about the garbage on the bike path. I go and
pick much of the stuff up myself, but a lot of it is on people’s property that they just dump over
the side. Why can’t we get it picked up?”
Mayor Morse, “We can not go on private property to pick up garbage. We send them fines and
all they do is pay the fine. The bike path is maintained by Albany County, and I send them e-
mails with the complaints.”
Council Member Smith, “I think a lot of the problem is that Cohoes is more multi family houses
that are along the path, whereas in Colonie, it is single family houses.”
