COMMON COUNCIL MINUTES Special Meeting /Workshop August,13, 2024 - 7:00 P.M. Common Council Regular Meeting Common Council Chambers Roll call was taken. PRESENT: EXCUSED: Mayor Keeler None Council President Biggs Council Member Izzo Council Member Higgins Council Member Soloyna Council Member McCarthy Council Member Frainier Public Comment: Ed Kingsley spoke about people passing school buses Gil Either spoke about hiring a person to drive around to look for violations in the city Resolution No. 36 for the year 2024 A Resolution accepting the donation of funds from Brookfield Renewable U.S. for the purchase of a new rescue boat for se by the Cohoes Fire Department. Council Member Higgins made a MOTION to approve Resolution No. 36 for the year 2024. Seconded by Council Member Soloyna. All members voted “AYE.” The motion passed. Resolution No. 37 for the year 2024 A Resolution appointing a Deputy City Clerk Council President Biggs made a MOTION to approve Resolution No. 37 for the year 2024. Seconded by Council Member Izzo. All members voted “AYE.” The motion passed. At 7:56 PM Council President Biggs made a MOTION to adjourn. Council Member Higgins seconded the motion.
