COMMON COUNCIL MEETING Tuesday, September 24, 2024 - 7:00 P.M. Common Council Meeting Common Council Chambers Roll call was taken. PRESENT: EXCUSED: Mayor Keeler Council President Biggs Council Member Izzo Council Member Higgins Council Member Soloyna Council Member McCarthy Council Member Frainier Public Comment : NONE Resolution No. 43 for the year 2024 A Resolution amending the annual budget for Fiscal Year 2024 Council Member McCarthy made a MOTION to approve Resolution No. 43 for the year 2024. Seconded by Council Member Soloyna. All members voted “AYE.” The motion passed. Resolution No. 44 for the year 2024 A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a design services contract with C.T. Male Associates regarding the City Hall Window Replacement Project. Council Member McCarthy made a MOTION to approve Resolution No. 44 for the year 2024. Seconded by Council President Biggs. All members voted “AYE.” The motion passed. Resolution No. 45 for the year 2024 A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a contract with Thaler Reilly Wilson Architecture and Preservation,LLP regarding the Cohoes Music Hall exterior restoration project. Council Member McCarthy made a MOTION to approve Resolution No. 44 for the year 2024. Seconded by Council Member Soloyna. All members voted “AYE.” The motion passed Oridance No. 7 for the year 2024 An Oridance amending the authorization of the Resurfacing and/or Repaving of Certain Streets in the City of Cohoes. Council Member McCarthy made a MOTION to approve Ordinance No. 7 for the year 2024. Seconded by Council Member Soloyna. All members voted “AYE.” The motion passed At 7:04 PM Council President Biggs made a MOTION to adjourn. Council Member Soloyna seconded the motion.
