COMMON COUNCIL MINUTES Tuesday, October 22, 2024 - 7:00 P.M. Common Council Regular Meeting Common Council Chambers Roll call was taken. PRESENT: EXCUSED: Mayor Keeler None Council President Biggs Council Member Izzo Council Member Higgins Council Member Soloyna Council Member McCarthy Council Member Frainier Public Comment: Will Chubet from Olmstead Street asked who is his council person and who can he speak to about potholes on his street. His council person is Mr. Higgins. Mayor Keeler said that he will speak to the DPW about the potholes on his street. Resolution No. 48 for the year 2024 A Resolution amending the annual budget for Fiscal Year 2024. Council Member McCarthy made a MOTION to approve Resolution No. 48 for the year 2024. Seconded by Council Member Higgins. All members voted “AYE.” The motion passed. Resolution No. 49 for the year 2024 A Resolution ratifying the terms of a memorandum of agreement between the City of Cohoes and the CSEA DPW unit. Council Member Higgins made a MOTION to approve Resolution No. 49 for the year 2024. Seconded by Council Member Izzo. All members voted “AYE.” The motion passed. Resolution No. 50 for the year 2024 A Resolution approving a solid waste disposal agreement between the City of Cohoes and Capital Region Landfills, Inc. Council Member McCarthy made a MOTION to approve Resolution No. 50 for the year 2024. Seconded by Council Member Higgins. All members voted “AYE.” The motion passed. At 7:03 PM Council Member Higgins made a MOTION to adjourn. Council Member Izzo seconded the motion.
