Reviewed tonight’s agenda. No changes were made. Reviewed the December 7, 2017 minutes. Ms. Bellamy made a motion to accept the minutes. Mr. Turley seconded the motion. All in favor; no opposed. 2. Ms. Cooper is on vacation. Ms. Stange is handling the shelter in Ms. Cooper’s absence and offered the following animal updates: a. Adoption Report i. Cooper (dog) ii. Esmeralda and Spencer (both of the cats at Petco) b. In the shelter: i. Feral mother cat c. Fosters/Petco i. Lady Gray and Earl Grey – foster with Ms. Brainard. ii. Moochie, cat (owner surrendered) iii. Nala – at Petco (picky eater) iv. Feral cat kittens – foster with Ms. Anderson 3. Discussed fundraiser at Krazy Kebob. The committee decided on March 5, 2018 from 5pm‐ 8pm. Ms. Rodeffer will talk to the manager about flyers and whether they can be done electronically or just with paper flyers. Ms. DeWalt volunteered to help make the flyers. 4. Ms. Rodeffer mentioned that it would be wonderful to have some natural light in the shelter as well as replace the screen door. The committee agreed. Mr. Brennan agreed to talk to the City of College Park. 5. Ms. DeWalt was on shelter duty over the weekend. While giving the mother cat some wet food noticed that the food had an expired date. She inspected all of the cans of cat food in the shelter and in the shed and trashed anything with an expired date. 6. Mr. Brennan reported that 99% of the Berwyn feral cat colony has been TNR. A better feeding location has been secured for the cats. 7. We had three sessions of Pet Pictures with Santa at Petco. In the three sessions, we took about 55 pictures. All of the money will be received by the AWC sometime in March. 8. Ms. Bellamy shared an article from the Humane Alliance Rescue. 9. The next meeting will be held on February 22, 2018 at 7:00pm in Davis Hall. We will have our pot luck at this meeting. Mr. Turley made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Ms. Stange seconded the motion.
