Reviewed the March 22, 2018 minutes. Mr. Turley made a motion to accept the minutes. Ms. Anderson seconded the motion. All in favor; no opposed. 2. Ms. Cooper gave the following report a. Finances i. AWC Donation Account - $9,725. ii. Ms. Anderson requested a reimbursement of $73.23 for kitten food for fostering. Ms. Rodeffer made a motion to reimburse Ms. Anderson $73.24. Mr. Turley seconded the motion. Mr. Turley, Ms. Rodeffer and Mr. Brennan approved the motion; Ms. Anderson abstained. iii. Jazzmine’s medical costs are $476 at the College Park Animal Hospital and a potential spay bill of $385-$550. Her spay date is May 4, 2018. Ms. Rodeffer made a motion to transfer monies from the main account to the vet services line for up to $1026 for Jazzmine’s care. Mr. Turley seconded the motion. All in favor; no opposed. Ms. Cooper was informed that she may initiate a transfer of the funds, up to $1026, once she receives the invoice for Jazzmine’s spaying. b. Fosters/Petco i. Pearl (AKA Lady) – foster with Ms. Rodeffer. She is posted on PetFinders for potential adoption. 3. The Annual Report to Mayor and City Council was shared by Mr. Brennan and reviewed. The committee asked to include a new van for the ACO and hiring of a part-time person to cover when the ACO is off and/or on vacation. 4. Mayor and Council are not appointing any committee members right now. They are reviewing all committees and their relevance to the City. However, the AWC can have additional volunteers to help out with the shelter. Names should be submitted to Mr. Brennan. Ms. Rodeffer suggested that any volunteer needs to be checked out and properly trained on handling the animals.  5. Maryland Day is Saturday, April 28. Ms. DeWalt and Ms. Anderson volunteered to be at the table with Ms. Cooper. Ms. Cooper stated she has give away items as well as brochures. 6. The Patuxent Avenue black cat colony is in transition again. Mr. Brennan was told that there are three cats that need medical attention. Mr. Thomas’ home is up for sale. It seems as if the cats may be getting fed elsewhere. It appears that the feral cats may have to be trapped and taken to the county shelter for medical assessment. 7. Next meeting is May 24, 2018 at 7pm in Davis Hall. Ms. Rodeffer made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Turley seconded the motion. All in favor; no opposed. The meeting was adjourned at 8:10pm.
