Bill Gardiner X Call to Order Robert called the zoom meeting to order at 1:07 pm. Old Business Minutes were approved from 6/28 and 7/26 meeting 1. AARP – Kickoff planning Kiaisha and Bill communicated that College Park Day will now be a primarily virtual event with a drive thru giveaway. New details are still being planned. The SAC can potentially pass out materials, grab bags, at the drive thru portion of the event and have a taped message as part of the virtual portion. Ryna will be able to provide updates as details are determined. Kiaisha will check with Ryna on update on connection with AARP counterpart and plans for website. Kiaisha shared screen for press release information on the home page of the City website. Article also appeared in the Here and Now. The date will remain Oct. 9, 2021 2. PAMC – Kickoff meeting Planning. Kickoff meeting and Tour will take place on 8/23/2021 Terry updated on consultants from the Jacob Frantz institute from Baltimore the desired plan and time for the afternoon/evening on 8/23/2021. Event/Tour time with consultants is 4-7 pm Angie offered bus transportation for 8 persons and will confirm after meeting. Suggested materials to be provided to consultants:  Copies of Here and Now  Municipal Scene  GreenPlay report  Lakeland  Standard AARP Survey Head Count for 8/23/2021 - Kiaisha- unavailable due to vacation - Bill will not likely attend - 8 other committee members will attend - Miriam, Terry, Angie will attend for Staff Destinations Suggested - Lake Artemesia - Hollywood - Attick Towers - College Park Metro - Clarie/UMD New Business 3. Organizational change Kiaisha updated that meetings will be scheduled as an extra Senior Advisory Committee meeting and scheduled through Clerk’s office monthly Scheduled next meeting 08/31/2021 Adjournment
