Old Business Approval of the April Minutes The committee reviewed the meeting minutes from the April 16, 2018 meeting and minor edits were made. Ms. Sanders made a motion to approve the April meeting minutes as amended. Second by Ms. Powers. All members were in favor and the April meeting minutes were approved as amended. Firstbook Orders Ms. Powers has selected the books for the 0-3 and 4-6 age groups and Ms. Bernache has ordered the journals. Volunteers are still needed to order books for the 7-9 and 10-12 age groups. Mr. Toledo will reach out to Ms. Day to see if she will order the books for the 10-12 age group and if she is unable to order, Mr. Toledo will be the backup. Books need to be ordered by the end of May and can be shipped to Ms. Higgins office address. New Business Election of Chair and co-Chair Ms. Bernache was nominated as Chair and Mr. Toledo was nominated as co-Chair for 2018-2019. Ms. Wilson made a motion to elect Ms. Bernache as Chair and Mr. Toledo as co-Chair. Second by Ms. Sanders. All members were in favor and Ms. Bernache and Mr. Toledo have been selected to serve as Chair and co-Chair for 2018-2019. EAC committee membership Ms. Wilson and Ms. Sanders have announced they regretfully need to resign from the committee due to workload. June 2018 to May 2019 EAC schedule Mr. Toledo motioned to skip the June and July 2018 meetings. Second by Ms. Sanders and all members were in favor. The 2018-2019 EAC meeting schedule is as follows: 2018 2019 August 20 January 28 September 17 February 25 October 15 March 18 November 19 April 15 December – No meeting May 20 Adjournment Mr. Toledo adjourned the meeting at 8:23pm.
