MINUTES Special Session of the College Park City Council Tuesday, November 13, 2018 Council Chambers 7:30 P.M. – 10:45 P.M. PRESENT: Mayor Wojahn; Councilmembers Kabir, Kennedy, Brennan, Dennis, Day, Rigg, Kujawa, and Mitchell. ABSENT: None. ALSO PRESENT: Scott Somers, City Manager; Bill Gardiner, Assistant City Manager; Janeen Miller, City Clerk; Suellen Ferguson, City Attorney; Terry Schum, Director of Planning; Miriam Bader, Senior Planner; Peggy Higgins, Director of Youth, Family and Senior Services; Angela Burns, Seniors Program Manager; Alex Tobin, Student Liaison; Serena Saunders, Deputy Student Liaison. During a regularly scheduled Worksession of the College Park City Council, a motion was made by Councilmember Rigg and seconded by Councilmember Kabir to enter into a Special Session to approve two Resolutions for which the appeal period has ended. Approval is requested tonight so the homeowners are not delayed. The possibility of the Special Session was listed on the Worksession agenda. With a vote of 8-0, Council entered Special Session at 7:42 p.m. ACTION ITEMS: 18-R-19 CPV-2018-09, 9627 52nd Avenue: A motion was made by Councilmember Rigg and seconded by Councilmember Kennedy to approve Resolution 18-R- 19. The motion passed 8-0. 18-R-20 CPV-2018-11, 6905 Wake Forest Drive: A motion was made by Councilmember Rigg and seconded by Councilmember Day to approve Resolution 18-R-20. The motion passed 8-0. ADJOURN: A motion was made by Councilmember Rigg and seconded by Councilmember Day to adjourn from Special Session, and with a vote of 8-0, the Special Session adjourned at 7:43 p.m. ____________________________________________ Janeen S.
