Thomas, Presiding Officer called the meeting to order. AGENDA PRESENTATIONS: 1. FY25 Budget Overview - Angelica Alexander, Finance Director - No Action Taken ________________________________________________________________________________ NOTE: Councilor Davis left the committee meeting at 11:13 a.m. at the time of the break. Also, Mayor Henderson and City Attorney Clifton Fay left the meeting at this time. The meeting reconvened at 11:26 a.m. ________________________________________________________________________________ 2. FY25 Healthcare Update - Vanessa Stephens, NFP Benefits Consultant - No Action Taken 3. Infrastructure Update - Pam Hodge, Deputy City Manager of Finance, Planning & Development - No Action Taken ________________________________________________________________________________ NOTE: The committee members took a lunch break at 12:00 p.m., and reconvened at 12:40, at which time, Councilor Garrett had left the meeting. ________________________________________________________________________________ Budget Review Agenda Item #4: Add List: Increase Reserve Deputy Funding in the amount of $300,000 and $250,000 for $200 a day stipend for hospital work on off-day for Deputies for a total amount of $550,000; $5,000 Base Pay increase for Sheriff Sworn Officers in the amount of $1,889,475 (Councilor Tucker placed on the Add List.) 4. Sheriff’s Office - Greg Countryman, Sheriff Budget Review Agenda Item #5: Add List: Increase Training / Travel Budget in the amount of $20,000; Increase Training Budget for Animal Care / Training Program in the amount of $300,000 and Increase Base Pay for MCP Sworn Officers in the amount of $346,920 (Councilor Tucker placed on the Add List.) 5. Muscogee County Prison - Herbert Walker, Warden Budget Review ADD/DELETE List: Add List: Increase Base Pay for Fire/EMS Sworn Officers in the amount of $2,500 for a total amount of $1,235,902 (Councilor Tucker placed on the Add List.) Budget Review Agenda Item #6: Add List: One (1) Legal Administrative Clerk G115 in the amount of $47,098 and four (4) Victim Advocates G117 in the amount of $201,560 (Mayor Pro Tem Allen placed on the Add List.) 6. District Attorney - William D. Kelly, Chief Assistant District Attorney With there being no further business to bring before the committee, Chairperson Councilor Thomas declared the meeting adjourned with Councilors Davis and Garrett having left the meeting and Councilors Begly and Huff being absent from the meeting with the time being 1:42 p.m. Page 2 of 2
