Minutes of the Columbus Area Senior Citizens Advisory Board Columbus Area Senior Center July 2, 2015, at 9:00 am I. Call to Order: Called to order 9:00 am by President Gessler. II. Roll Call: Present (Gessler, Parpart, Weiner,Ballweg, Heiniger) Absent: Lueders, Solie, Smith & Adams. III. Notice of Open and posted meeting: Yes IV. Approve Agenda: Motion Parpart, Second Ballweg. Approved. V. Approval of prior meeting minutes: Motion Parpart, Second Heiniger, Approved. VI. Comments/suggestions of citizens present: None VII. Suggestion box: 1 comment, “I enjoy tea time”, followed by complaint that staff missed boiling water for tea on time. VIII. Old Business 1. Memorandum of Understanding with Columbia County Nutrition Program: waiting for document to be returned from CC with signatures. 2. WASC Reaccreditation Committee Report : nothing to report 3. Building Maintenance & Repairs a. Custodial Room project complete: tour was given b. Procedure for Sheepshead: Weiner reported that there still problems with playing a three table. c. Energy Audit project: nothing to report at this time d. Fitness room – air conditioner installed e. Items tabled – Gutters and flooring project IX. New Business a. Roof leak in fitness room: calking completed X. Upcoming Events a. Closed Friday, July 3 b. Summer Picnic – July 28: Meal site Manager Foxx reported that CC staff was not notified of this date. c.
