Call To Order/Roll Call 4:00 PM A regular meeting of the Citizens Public Safety Advisory Board was called to order by Chair Bierwiler on January 25, 2024, at 4:01 PM. Present 5 - Board Member David Bierweiler, Board Member Tim Stewart, Board Member Scott Hefty, Board Member Roxanne Nice, and Board Member Tracee Perkins Excused 4 - Board Member Rodrigo Luevano, Board Member Gavin Strickland, Board Member Jennie Loveridge, and Board Member Scott Rose Absent 1 - Board Member Mark Chadwick 2. Approval of Minutes This was approved 3. Review Bylaws - Discussed adding a Secretary to the board - Discussed adding the requirement of board members attending two community events per year - Board will vote on both additions at February meeting 4. Stronger Leadership 5. Succession Plan 6. Faith Based Outreach Update - Vice Chair Stewart shared his involvement with the Landing Place Church, Men's Group, and opportunities for the Public Safety Advisory Board to participate in their community events. Department Updates Chief Guadnola thanked the Board for their contribution to the Police Department's Employee Appreciation Event. He also gave an update regarding the new Flock system and PowerEngage program the Police Department were approved to acquire and the benefits of these systems. Chief Guadnola also shared five focal points for 2024: 1. Community engagement events 2. Hosting monthly Law Enforcement training 3. Succession planning and mentorship 4. Strategic Organization Evolution 5. CALEA Accreditation 8.
