Call To Order/Roll Call 4:00 PM A regular meeting of the Citizens Public Safety Advisory Board was called to order by Chair Bierwiler on April 25, 2024, at 4:02 PM. Present 5 - Board Member David Bierweiler, Board Member Tim Stewart, Board Member Scott Hefty, Board Member Roxanne Nice, and Board Member Tracee Perkins 2. Approval of Minutes This was approved Present 5 - Board Member David Bierweiler, Board Member Tim Stewart, Board Member Tracee Perkins, Board Member Roxanne Nice, and Board Member Scott Hefty 3. Review and approve 2024 Budget and Work Plan A motion was made by Member Nice, seconded by Vice Chair Perkins, to approve the 2024 Budget and Work Plan. VOTE:5- Aye,0 - Nay This was approved 5. Vote to approve new Secretary position -After identifying the reference of a Recording Secretary position in the Memberships and Terms of the current bylaws, there were no further discussion. 6. Review and approve amended bylaws A motion was made by Member Hefty, seconded by Member Nice, to approve an addition to the bylaws requiring members to attend a minimum of two citywide events per calendar year. Department Updates Chief provided updates regarding recent events: - National Animal Control Appreciation Week - National Telecommunications Appreciation Week - National Administrative Professionals Appreciation Day - Public Works received a grant for additional lighting for the south area of City - Status of the north substation build out - PowerEngage survey tool - JAG Grant submission - CCPD recieved $5K grant from Walmart - Overview of first Facebook Live Commanders Meeting - Recruitment update; New Patrol Sergeant, Rudy Underwood Upcoming events: - 2024 Police Week - First Annual Cops for Inclusion - 2024 Memorial Day Parade 10.
