Call To Order/Roll Call Present 13 - Debra Bullock, Brian Draxten, Brian Connor, Crystal Elliott, David Soucie, Dee Saiz-Lamberson, Edward Hanson, Francine Crusan-Garcia, Heidi McNeely, Jacob Wilson, Jadie Carson, Edward Lanyon, and Susan Carabajal Absent 1 - Jackie Maldonado 2. Approval of Minutes Motion to approve minutes from January 10th meeting by Brian Seconder: Heidi Action: Approved This was approved 3. Music in the Park Music in the Park Preview Bands: The committee reviewed 6 potential bands for the 2017 series. A motion was made by Deb, seconded by David to approve Tunisia, So What Brothers, Rudy Grant, and Buckstein VOTE: All in favor ACTION: Approved GG Cupcakes and North of Border Grill are confirmed for the 13th & 27th Heidi will use Facebook/social media to have audiene mention other food trucks Ed and Susan met with Swallow Hill and talked about different packages they offer Ed and Susan also met with KGNU and they will do free advertising for MitP as long as we include their logo on all of our material. eddie Lanyon will help finalize Chipotle Fundraiser 4. Budget/Grants - 2017 Planning Heidi, Ed, Eddie, and Daniela are working on grants. QCF grant is due 3/3 and the Commerce City Page 1 Cultural Council Meeting Minutes February 15, 2017 SCFD grant is due 3/24 5. Sponsorships Brian secured a sponsorship from a lawfirm for $500 Denver Folklore will sponsor $250 Crystal will call Dion's for pontential sponsorship/fundraiser 6. Regular Business Items Financial Update motioned for approval by Heidi Seconder: Brian Action: Approved Eddie, Deb and Susan gave a report back from the presentation to City Council on 2/9 7. Public Art Update No new update at the time 8. Memorial Day Parade Registration is now open, will look into ideas and level of participation during next month's meeting. 9.
