Call To Order/Roll Call Meeting was called to order: 6:02 p.m. Present: Abraham Ramirez, Angela Ramirez, Jacqueline Riggs-Gonzales, Jennifer Martin, Councilman Jose Guardiola, Kelly Reyos, Johni Grabinski, Ronna Sanchez Absent: Maria Arce, Sandra Escobar, Councilman Hurst 2. Regular Business Items Financial Update Board member Riggs-Gonazales provided an update on the August financials. Board member Martin motion to approve the report. Board member Sanchez seconded. motion was approved unanimously. Approval of Minutes Board member Martin asked to edit minutes under new business, add that there was discussion to vote on a date for the planning meeting during the September regular board meeting. Councilman Guardiola motioned to approve with said edit. Board member Reyos seconded the motion. Motion was passed 7-Aye, 1-Nay. Meeting minutes of August 10, 2021 Attachments: 08/10/2021 3. New Business o Commerce City Eats Updates Staff will finalize flyers for restaurants. Members will help distribute flyers to restaurants. Parks and recreation donated prizes for photo submissions including; an annual pass to a city recreation center, annual pass to Paradice Island, and day passes to the city's recreation centers. o Art Exhibition, Art Reception New artwork is on display at Bison Ridge and Eagle Pointe recreation centers. Other Business o Social Media Board member Martin will take lead on drafting, scheduling and posting on social media. o Planning Meeting/Retreat After board president proposed October 9 to have the Cultural Council planning meeting, members agreed to reschedule and send staff proposed dates. Staff will send out a doodle/confirmation of when the reschedule date is. 5. Member Comments/Announcements None 6. Public Comment No public comment. 7.
