Call To Order/Roll Call Meeting was called to order at 3:05 p.m. Present: Carole Harvell, Myrna Ferguson, George Maxey, Tillie Villareal, Jennie Loveridge, Tina Ledesma, Carli Plummer, Councilwoman Susan Noble, Caroly Boyd. Absent: Councilwoman Jennifer Allen-Thomas, Gabriela Adeshewo, Mary K Natho, Bruce Reilly 2. Approval of Minutes Commissioner Plummer motioned to approve meeting minutes. Commissioner Ledesma seconded the motion. Minutes were approved unanimously. Meeting minutes of August 12, 2021 Attachments: 08/12/2021 3. New Business Elections Commissioner Ledesma nominated commissioner Plummer for commission president. No nominations for the commission vice president were received and commissioner Boyd agreed to stay on in the role. Commissioner Ledesma motioned commissioner Plummer for commission president and commissioner Boyd for vice president. Commissioner Loveridge seconded. Motion was approved unanimously. Updates on the resource page Commissioners reviewed the senior resource page and assigned categories. Commissioners will continue to update resources and the staff liaison will work on proposed edits provided by commissioners. Resource Fair Commissioner Plummer presented proposed idea to host a senior resource fair. Commissioner Boyd motioned to table the event for further discussion. Commissioner Plummer motioned to hold a vote on whether to host the event or not. Commissioner Villareal seconded the motion to table the conversation. Motion was passed. 4.
