Call To Order/Roll Call a. Meeting was called to order at 6:03 p.m. b. Attendance was taken. Present: Angela Ramirez, Abraham Ramirez, Jacqueline Riggs-Gonzales, Craig Hurst, Jennifer Martin, Linda Barr, Ronna Sanchez, Kelly Reyos, Alondra Gonzalez Carrillo. Absent (excused): Maria Arce and Kristi Douglas. 2. Approval of Minutes Ronna Sanchez moved to approve the minutes, Jennifer Martin seconded the notion. Passed. Minutes were approved. Financial update given by Jacqueline - We continue to create financial reports at the end of every month. b. Grant update given by Ronna 5. Community Time a. Dedicated time to get to know one another. All council members answered the following question: "What food would you bring to a potluck that represents your heritage?" 6. Guest Speaker Dylan Gibson from the Clerk's Office gave a presentation on the redistricting process that will take place in Commerce City inviting everyone to participate and help spread the word. Music in the Park d. Commerce City Eats - Cultural Council will be exploring partnership with Chamber of Commerce 8. New Business and Announcements a. Update on public art around the City of Commerce City b. Update on the new art sculpture project led by Delwest c. Mini Comic Con Event coming up on March 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bison Ridge d. New event taking place in May at Buffalo Run: Veterans Golf Tournament e. Discussion about need for new merch/swag 9. Adjourn Meeting was adjourned at 7:23 p.m. Commerce City Page 2
