Call To Order Chair Ramirez called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m. Present 9 - Board Member Abraham Ramirez, Board Member Angela Ramirez, Board Member Diana Munoz, Board Member Jacqueline Riggs-Gonzales, Board Member Jennifer Martin, Board Member Kelly Reyos, Board Member Linda Barr, Board Member Lupita Arce, and Board Member Ronna Sanchez Absent 3 - Board Member Ana Munoz, Council Member Craig Hurst, and Council Member Kristi Douglas 2. Approval of Minutes Min 22-217 Minutes of July 12, 2022 Meeting Vice Chair Martin made a motion to approve the minutes of the July 12, 2022 meeting. Board member Ramirez seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. Board member Reyos joined the meeting at 6:04 p.m. 3. Regular Business Ice Breaker Question The Board discussed the ice breaker question. Financial and Grants Update Board member Riggs-Gonzales provided a financial update. Committee Reports: Music in the Park Chair Ramirez provided an update on the Music in the Park events. He shared Music in the Park #2 has been rescheduled for August 16, 2022. Board member Sanchez made a motion to ratify the payments for the staging, bands, cooler, booth materials and raffle prizes for the 2022 Music in the Park events. Board member Arce seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. Board member Sanchez made a motion to pay for the missed 2021 Food Truck payments up to $45.00. Board member Arce seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. Fall Art Exhibition Vice Chair Martin provided an update on the Fall Art Exhibition. Student Art Show Board member Diana Munoz provided an update on the student art shows. The Board discussed next steps. Commerce City Eats The Commerce City Eats Subcommittee provided an update. It was determined that Chair Ramirez would schedule a meeting with the Chamber of Commerce to explore a partnership. Social Media & Marketing Vice Chair Martin provided a social media update. 5. New Business: Annual Retreat Logistics Board member Arce made a motion to approve an Annual Retreat date of October 22, 2022. Board member Sanchez seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. Ratify Music in the Park Payments This item was discussed earlier in the meeting. 6. Other Business None. 7. Adjourn Chair Ramirez adjourned the meeting at 6:52 p.m. Commerce City Page 2
