Call to Order Chair Martin called the meeting to order via Zoom at 6:03 p.m. Present 6 - Board Member Augusta Jonhart, Board Member Jennifer Martin, Board Member Kelly Reyos, Board Member Lucas (luke) Henderson, Board Member Ronna Sanchez, and Council Member Kristi Douglas Absent 3 - Board Member Linda Barr, Alternate Board Member Mary Chan, and Council Member Craig Hurst 2. Approval of Minutes Min 22-306 Minutes of the 2022 Annual Retreat Board member Jonhart made a motion to approve the minutes of the 2022 Annual Retreat. Board member Henderson seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. Min 22-307 Minutes of Oct. 11, 2022 Meeting Board member Sanchez made a motion to approve the minutes of the Oct. 11, 2022 meeting. Board member Munoz seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. 3. Ice Breaker Question The Board discussed their favorite Thanksgiving dishes. 4. Monthly Reports: Finance & Grants Board member Sanchez provided a financial update. 5. SharePoint Review Staff Liaison, Jenny Penoncello, reviewed how to use the Cultural Council SharePoint site. Governance Board member Jonhart and Board member Reyos provided an update on the governance subcommittee. B. Visual Arts Chair Martin provided an update on the Winter Art Show Opening Reception. C. Performing Arts No updates. D. Vision No updates. 7. New Business: A. Remaining Grant Funds The Board discussed the remaining grant funds. Board member Sanchez made a motion to use the remaining 2022 grant funds on easels for the community art shows. Board member Jonhart seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. 8. Old Business: A. 2023 Goals Vice Chair Riggs-Gonzales made a motion to approve the 2023 Cultural Council goals. Board member Henderson seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. B. 2023 Calendar Discussion The Board discussed the 2023 dates for Music in the Park. 9. Other Business None. 10. Adjourn Chair Martin adjourned the meeting at 7:04 p.m. After the monthly meeting adjourned, the monthly subcommittee meetings occurred via Zoom. Commerce City Page 2
