Call To Order/Roll Call A special meeting of the Commerce City Urban Renewal Authority was called to order by Chair Huseman on November 14, 2022, at 9:09 PM. A motion was made by Vice Chair Allen-Thomas, seconded by Commissioner Madera, to excuse members not present. VOTE: 8 - Aye, 3 - Excused (Buche, Kim, Tedesco) Present: 8 - Chair Benjamin Huseman, Vice Chair Jennifer Allen-Thomas, Oscar Madera, Rick Davis, Susan Noble, Craig Hurst, Sean Ford and Kristi Douglas Excused: 4 - Craig Kim, Craig Kim, Charles "Chaz" Tedesco and Peter Buche Times given are estimates only 2. Approval of Minutes Minutes of the November 7, 2022 Special Meeting. A motion was made by Vice Chair Allen-Thomas, seconded by Commissioner Hurst, that the minutes be approved. VOTE: Aye: 8- Chair Huseman, Vice Chair Allen-Thomas, Commissioner Madera, Commissioner Davis, Commissioner Noble, Commissioner Hurst, Commissioner Ford and Commissioner Douglas Excused: 3- Commissioner Kim, Commissioner Tedesco and Commissioner Buche 3. Administrative Business Strategic Planning for the Urban Renewal Authority The URA Commissioners wished to continue this item until a time when all members could be present. Resolutions A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH ADAMS COUNTY TO SHARE THE COST TO SELECT, RETAIN, AND COMPENSATE A VENDOR TO CREATE AN URBAN RENEWAL PLAN FOR THE AREA IN AND AROUND THE 72ND LIGHT RAIL RTD STATION A motion was made by Commissioner Hurst, seconded by Vice Chair Allen-Thomas, that this resolution be approved. VOTE: Aye: 7- Chair Huseman, Vice Chair Allen-Thomas, Commissioner Madera, Commissioner Davis, Commissioner Noble, Commissioner Hurst and Commissioner Ford Nay: 1- Commissioner Douglas Excused: 3- Commissioner Kim, Commissioner Tedesco and Commissioner Buche A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING THE APPOINTMENT OF CRAIG MACHUGA TO THE COMMERCE CITY URBAN RENEWAL AUTHORITY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS A motion was made by Commissioner Hurst, seconded by Vice Chair Allen-Thomas, that this resolution be approved. VOTE: Aye: 8- Chair Huseman, Vice Chair Allen-Thomas, Commissioner Madera, Commissioner Davis, Commissioner Noble, Commissioner Hurst, Commissioner Ford and Commissioner Douglas Excused: 3- Commissioner Kim, Commissioner Tedesco and Commissioner Buche 5.
