Call to Order Chair Martin called the meeting to order at 6:05 p.m. Present 7 - Board Member Augusta Jonhart, Jacqueline Riggs-Gonzales, Board Member Jennifer Martin, Board Member Lucas (luke) Henderson, Daniel Price, Ronna Sanchez, and Board Member Kristi Douglas Absent 4 - Board Member Kelly Reyos, Board Member Linda Barr, Board Member Lupita Arce, and Board Member Craig Hurst 2. Ice Breaker Chair Martin led an ice breaker activity. Board member Price joined the meeting. 3. Approval of Minutes Min 23-075 Minutes of Feb. 21, 2023 Meeting Board member Sanchez made a motion to approve the minutes of the Feb. 21, 2023 meeting. Board member Jonhart seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. 4. Grants & Finance Update Board member Sanchez provided a grants and finance update. 5. Monthly Public Art Update Staff Liaison, Jenny Penoncello, provided a short presentation on a potential partnership with SACWSD to paint fire hydrants. The Board discussed. Board member Sanchez made a motion to adopt 10 fire hydrants to be painted by professional artists. Board member Jonhart seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. Visual Arts Chair Martin provided an update on the Spring Photography art show. Board member Riggs-Gonzales made a motion to approve an amount not to exceed $600 for art show expenses. Councilwoman Douglas seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. C. Performing Arts Board member Sanchez and Vice Chair Riggs-Gonzales provided a Music in the Park update. Staff Liaison, Jenny Penoncello, shared the draft banners, yard signs and flyers. Board member Sanchez made a motion to order 4 banners and yard signs for the 2023 Music in the Park series. Vice Chair Riggs-Gonzalez seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. D. Vision No Updates. 7. New Business Chair Martin provided an update on Cultural Council membership. 8. Other Business Councilwoman Douglas made a motion to approve the funding to print new public art photos for the public engagement wheel. Board member Price seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. The Board discussed the Memorial Day Parade and decided to participate. 9.
