The group noted wanting to have translation services available at the unveiling
celebration. Marketing for both projects was also reviewed and discussed.
B. Winter Art Exhibition
Jen Martin shared that the subcommittee is planning to display submissions from the
public art projects as their winter art exhibition. Due to the unusual dimensions of the
artwork, the subcommittee proposed purchasing tv monitors to display the artwork
instead of printing and framing artwork. This also presents the opportunity to have a
mobile art show that can go in a variety of venues throughout the city. The group
expressed concern over security of the equipment.
Kristi moved to table the conversation until the next meeting. The motion was
withdrawn.
Jan moved to approve $1,000 for purchasing 2 tv's, stands, and any protection
