Call To Order/Roll Call - 3:00 PM Chair Carlita Plummer called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. Present 9 - Commissioner Carol Taylor-Boyd, Ex Officio Tina Ledesma, Chair Carlita Plummer, Commissioner E. Diane Narvaez, Commissioner Melinda Mcgowan, Commissioner Carole Harvell, Alternate Commissioner Antonia Dell, Commissioner Mary Natho, and Commissioner Scott Hefty Excused 2 - Mayor Pro Tem Susan Noble, and Ex Officio Gabriela Adeshewo Absent 1 - Commissioner Myrna Ferguson 2. Approval of Minutes A motion was made by commissioner Narvaez, seconded by commissioner Natho, that these minutes be approved. This was approved Min 24-179 Meeting Minutes of the September Meeting Attachments: September Meeting Minutes 3. Public Comment - There was no public comment. 4. September Lunch & Learn Retrospective Commissioners discussed the September Lunch & Learn and made suggestions for future events. 5. Fall Fest Event Commissioners discussed the Fall Fest and provided feedback on the event. 6. November Social Event Commissioners discussed and provided updates on their assigned roles for the social Commerce City Page 1 Senior Commission Meeting Minutes - Final October 10, 2024 event. 7. December Holiday Party Commissioners discussed the upcoming End of Year Party confirming the location at Bison Grill from 3:00-5:00 p.m. 8. Nominations & Voting Commissioner Mcgowan was voted in as Chair and commissioner Narvaez was voted in as Vice Chair effective the November meeting. 9. 2025 Goals Commissioners discussed the 2025 goals, suggesting more collaboration with neighboring cities. 10. 2025 Event Dates Commissioners discussed widening the scope by looking at event dates of neighboring cities as well as internal departments to ensure no event date conflicts. 11. New Business Ex-officio Ledesma provided an update on upcoming Medicare changes. 12. Other Business No other business was discussed. 13. City Council Updates No updates were provided. 14.
