Approval of Minutes Commissioner LaRue motioned to approve the minutes. Commissioner Albert seconded the motion. Open Forum Commission discussed Robert's Rules of Order. Commission discussed Holiday Drive. Staff to research options and return back. 4. Proclamations September proclamations were run and approved. November Proclamations - Land Acknowledgement and Native American Heritage Month, prepared by Commissioner LongSoldier December Proclamations - Universal Human Rights Month, prepared by Commissioners Singh and Albert; National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence against Women, prepared by Chair Spreutels-Martinez 5. Old Business Commission discussed attendance policy. Staff report out from research, no action taken. Chair Spreutels-Martinez and Commissioner Koonce reported out from Employee DEI Team Meeting. 6. Winter Retreat Vice Chair Corder moved to hold Winter Retreat in-person on October 22nd, 2022. Commissioner LongSoldier seconded. Vote: 7 Aye 1 Nay (Koonce) 3 Absent Commissioner Singh moved to hire facilitator at cost of $3,000 for retreat on October 22nd, 2022. Vice Chair Corder seconded. Vote: 8 Aye 0 Nay 3 Absent Commission discussed having staff facilitate meeting in absence of hired facilitator.
