Call to Order Chair Hellewell called the meeting to order at 6:04 p.m. Present 5 - Board Member Heather Marr, Board Member Laurel Eller, Board Member Melinda Larson, President Laura Hellewell, and Board Member Theresa Wilson Absent 2 - Board Member LaCrea Dixon, and Board Member Tonia Lopez 2. Approval of Minutes Min 22-251 Minutes of the August 23, 2022 Meeting Chair Hellewell made a motion to approve the minutes of the August 23, 2022 meeting. Board member Eller seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. 3. 2021 Financial Report Board member Wilson presented the 2021 fund balance. The Board discussed. 4. Subcommittee Reports: A. Curt Holland Memorial Golf Tournament Tournament Review & Feedback Staff Liaison, Jenny Penoncello, and Board member Wilson presented the 2022 Curt Holland Memorial Golf Tournament financials. The Board discussed the tournament and provided feedback for next year. B. Curt Holland Scholarship Program ENT Partnership for Grant Workshop Chair Hellewell presented a partnership opportunity with ENT to host grant workshops for the non-profit grant applicants. The Board discussed further. Scholarship Fairs Chair Hellewell shared the opportunity to participate in scholarship fairs at Commerce City schools. Old Business: A. Fall Fest: Volunteers & Table Theme Chair Hellewell discussed Fall Fest 2022. The Board discussed Fall Fest logistics. 6. New Business: A. 80s Prom Fundraiser Chair Hellewell made a motion to partner with Parks, Recreation and Golf for a spring fundraising event. Board member Wilson seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. The Board discussed ideas for an 80s Prom. It was determined Chair Hellewell and Board member Larson would serve as co-chairs. 7. Adjourn Chair Hellewell adjourned the meeting at 7:54 p.m. Commerce City Page 2
