Show Cause Hearings Pres 18-269 Show Cause Hearing for the Tavern License of Cheddar Please! Entertainment, LLC dba Hardtimes located at 6771 E 80th Ave Appearing: Attorney Chris Carr, Registration #32239, on behalf of licensee Danni Danko-Holloway, on behalf of the licensee Rob Holloway, on behalf of the licensee Senior Assistant City Attorney Rachel Allen, on behalf of the city Attorney Allen explained that a stipulated agreement has been reached with the licensee through their attorney. The licensee has terminated the bar tender responsible for the violation. The city is offering a penalty of a seven-day suspension, holding five days in abeyance for one year, and agreeing to a two-day fine in lieu of suspension. Attorney Carr agreed with Attorney Allen. After questioning the licensee regarding the violation and stipulated agreement, Hearing Officer Ablao approved stipulated agreement and advised the licensee that their fine would need to be submitted by Oct 1, 2018. Pres 18-270 Show Cause Hearing for the Temporary Tavern Permit of 6171 LLC dba The Hideaway Saloon located at 6171 Olive St Appearing: Attorney Don Martin, Registration #22347, on behalf of the applicant Senior Assistant City Attorney Rachel Allen, on behalf of the city Commerce City Page 1 Liquor License Authority Meeting Minutes - Final September 19, 2018 Attorney Allen stated that a stipulated agreement had been reached. The licensee has agreed to recertify their TIPS training and a penalty of a seven-day suspension, with five days held in abeyance and fine in lieu of two days suspensions. Attorney Martin accepted the terms of the agreement on behalf of his client. Hearing Officer Ablao approved the terms of the agreement conditioned upon no violations to the liquor code, rules, regulations and any local ordinances. Additionally, all employees who serve liquor are to be TIPS certified. The fine is to be submitted by October 1, 2018. 4. Adjourn Hearing Officer Ablao adjourned the liquor license authority meeting.
