Call To Order Hearing Officer Ablao called to order the Liquor License Authority Meeting. 2. Approval of Minutes Min 18-85 Meeting Minutes of July 3, 2018 Hearing Officer Ablao approved the minutes of July 3, 2018. Min 18-92 Meeting Minutes July 1, 2016 Hearing Officer Ablao approved the minutes of July 1, 2016. Min 18-95 Meeting Minutes of October 12, 2015 Hearing Officer Ablao approved the minutes of October 12, 2015. 3. Public Hearings Pres 18-364 Fermented Malt Beverage License Application of Best One Convenience Store, Inc., located at 6898 Kearney St Hearing Officer Ablao opened the public hearing. Appearing: Attorney Kevin Coates, Registration #25995, on behalf of the applicant Rajeesh Jain, on behalf of the applicant Hilda Ochoa, on behalf of the applicant Eva Garretson, petition circulator Ms. Garretson was sworn in and testified to the petition process and results. Attorney Coates mentioned Mr. Jain's intent to serve fermented malt beverage for a while based on the need and desire in the neighborhood. He mentioned Ms. Ochoa's extensive work and training experience. Attorney Coates made closing statements in support of the application. Hearing Officer Ablao made the following findings: license is approved contingent on Commerce City Page 1 Liquor License Authority Meeting Minutes - Final October 19, 2018 satisfactory inspection confirming accuracy of the diagram, satisfactory background results, continual compliance with rules, regulations, ordinances and laws pertaining to liquor establishments. Hearing Officer Ablao made the correction that Mr. Loomba, owner, was present. Mr. Loomba was sworn in and agreed to all statements made regarding his application. 4.
