Call To Order The hearing officer called the meeting to order. 2. Approval of Minutes Min 19-113 Minutes of June 4, 2019 The hearing officer approved the minutes. 3. Public Hearings Pres 19-397 New Application for the Retail Marijuana Products Manufacturer License of QCI Labs LLC dba Sano Gardens, located at 5303 Vasquez Blvd #102 Appearing: Justin Johnson #41861, on behalf of the applicant Jeff Botkin, on behalf of the applicant Cliff Kirvan, on behalf of the applicant Eva Garretson, petition circulator Brian Swann #51394, on behalf of the city Attorney Johnson make opening comments regarding zoning, compliance and reviewed preliminary findings. Garretson was sworn and testified on the petition results, gave a description of the area within the boundary, survey coverage, and petitioning procedures. Botkin testified to his role in the business, his educational and professional background, other licenses held, products to be sold, lack of prior violations, security measures to be taken, hours of operation, staffing, employee training procedures, inventory management and odor mitigation.The hearing officer questioned Botkin about the diagram.Attorney Swann commended the licensee on no odor complaints, asked about employee training, and asked for clarification on lease documents. Kirvan testified to his educational and professional experience, other business owned, his role and responsibilities in the proposed operation, and his familiarity with marijuana laws and ordinances. Attorney Johnson made closing statements. Presentations Pres 19-403 Extension Request for the Retail Marijuana Products Manufacturer and Retail Marijuana Cultivation License of Ty Webb Enterprises LLC, located at 9792 Hanover Ct Appearing: Amber Maiman, on behalf of the applicant Mark Prescott, on behal of the applicant Brian Swann #51394, on behalf of the city Prescott was sworn and stated that all permits had been issued and spoke to the significant progress that had been made. Attorney Swann made no objection to the extension request. The hearing officer granted a 6 month extension requesting a written update at 3 months. 5. Adjourn Commerce City Page 2
