Call To Order/Roll Call/Pledge of Allegiance - 6:00 PM Members Present: (9) Meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm by Co-Chair Collins. Members Present: DeLilah Collins, Charles Dukes, Oz Flores, Bob Grandinetti, Shawn McDowell, Michael Stegman, Rocky Teter, Paul Welander (virtual) and Karl Zimmermann (virtual) Absent: Josh Houde and Desiree Martinelli Staff present: Kathy LeVeque Paul Hebinck, Tim Duda, Zach Venn, Pam Young and Maria Jepson Guests: None The pledge of allegiance was recited. Member McDowell left at 6:45 for another engagement. 2. Public Comment - None 3. Approval of Minutes Min 24-184 Minutes of September 17, 2024 Meeting Attachments: Minutes A motion was made by Member Dukes seconded by Member Flores to approve the September 17, 2024, minutes as they were originally drafted. VOTE: 8 Ayes, 1 Non-Response. The motion passed. A motion was made by Member Dukes seconded by Member Zimmermann to reconsider the earlier approval of the minutes and reopen the minutes discussion. VOTE: 7 Ayes, 2 Nays. The motion passed. A motion was made by Member Dukes seconded by Member Stegman to approve the minutes in an amended form. VOTE: 8 Ayes, 1 Nay. The motion passed. 4. New Business 24-261 Active Adult/Inclusion - Zach Venn Recreation Supervisor Venn presented on this item. 24-262 Bob's Rules - Kathy LéVeque Deputy Director LeVeque presented on this item. A motion was made by Member Grandinetti, seconded by Member Stegman to adopt Bob’s Rules of Order. During discussion Member Grandinetti withdrew this motion. A motion was made by Member Zimmermann to table the adoption Bob’s Rules of Order until after additional training. No second was made. A motion was made by Member Grandinetti, seconded by Member Stegman to table this topic until the November 19, 2024 meeting. VOTE: 7 Ayes, 1 Nay. The motion passed. A motion was made by Co-chair Collins, seconded by Member Stegman to extend the meeting time to cover the remaining New Business and Council Member Reports agenda items. VOTE: 8 Ayes, 0 Nay.
