Call To Order/Roll Call/Pledge of Allegiance - 6:00 PM Members Present: (8) Meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm by the Co-Chair Martinelli Members Present: DeLilah Collins, Charles Dukes, Oz Flores, Bob Grandinetti, Desiree Martinelli, Shawn McDowell, Rocky Teter, Paul Welander and Karl Zimmermann. Absent: Oz Flores, Josh Houde Let the record show Member McDowell joined the meeting at 6:11 pm Staff Present: Chad Redin, Kathy LeVeque, Paul Hebinck, Dylan Gibson, Pam Young, and Maria Jepson Guests: None The pledge of allegiance was recited. 2. Public Comment - None 3. Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Member Teter seconded by Member Grandinetti to approve the March 18, 2025 minutes. VOTE: Motion Passed Min 25-085 Minutes of March 18, 2025 Meeting Attachments: Minutes 4. Unfinished Business - None 5. New Business 25-140 PRG Advisory Committee - Discussion to become a Commission City Clerk Gibson shared information and answered questions on the differences in formation between a committee and a commission. Member McDowell made a motion for the PRG Advisory Committee to become a commission, seconded by Member Zimmermann. VOTE: Motion Passed Commerce City Page 1 Parks, Recreation, and Golf Meeting Minutes - Final April 15, 2025 Advisory Committee 25-141 PRG Advisory Committee - Discussion to name the Commission Member Welander made a motion to name this group the Parks, Recreation and Golf Commission, Member Dukes seconded the motion. VOTE: Motion Passed 25-142 PRG Advisory Committee - Discussion to create a separate Golf Advisory Committee Member McDowell made a motion to retain golf as part of the Parks, Recreation and Golf Commission, seconded by Member Grandinetti. VOTE: Motion Passed 25-143 PRG Annual Presentation Co-Chair Collins requested input for the April 28, 2025 annual council presentation. 25-144 Buffalo Run Golf Course Private Golf Carts Presentation Director Redin reminded members that there was a private golf cart presentation to Council on February 24, 2025. The next Council presentation is scheduled for June 23, 2025. The PRGAC subcommittee for this topic will meet to review the information that is to be covered in the June presentation. 6.
