Call To Order/Roll Call/Pledge of Allegiance - 6:00 PM Members Present: (7) Meeting was called to order at 6:06 pm by Co-Chair Collins. Members Present: DeLilah Collins, Charles Dukes, Bob Grandinetti, Desiree Martinelli, Shawn McDowell, Rocky Teter and Karl Zimmermann. Absent: Oz Flores and Paul Welander Staff Present: Kathy LeVeque, Paul Hebinck, Tim Duda, Pam Young and Maria Jepson Guests: N/A The pledge of allegiance was recited. 2. Public Comment None 3. Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Member Grandinetti seconded by Member Teter to approve the June 17, 2025 minutes. VOTE: Motion passed. Min 25-139 Minutes of June 17, 2025 Meeting Attachments: Minutes 4. Unfinished Business 25-160 How PRGAC can Promote Marketing - Committee Discussion Members discussed various ways to incorporate intentional marketing efforts to promote engagement and participation for programs, events and community activities. 24-171 Private Golf Cart Update - Co-Chairs Members Collins, Martinelli, Zimmermann and Golf Manager, Hebinck presented on behalf of the PRG Advisory Committee at the Council study session on June 23rd. Council provided feedback and requested that a pilot program plan be developed as a Commerce City Page 1 Parks, Recreation, and Golf Meeting Minutes - Final July 15, 2025 Advisory Committee starting point. Member Zimmermann made a motion to create a subcommittee to further review and develop a private golf cart pilot program. Motion seconded by Member Grandinetti. VOTE: Motion passed. 25-187 Commission Function - Kathy LeVeque Deputy Director LeVeque reviewed the purpose of the PRG Advisory Committee as outlined in the PRGAC charter. Member McDowell made a motion to keep the this the same for the PRG Commission, updating “committee” to “commission”. Second made by Co-Chair Martinelli. VOTE: Motion passed. 5. New Business 25-188 Second Creek Farm Park Contract Award - Kathy LeVeque Deputy Director LeVeque shared that the 6–7-acre Second Creek Farm Park project went out for bid this year and the construction contract is on the Council schedule July 21st for review and approval. 25-189 CIP Update - Kathy LeVeque Tabled to August meeting. 25-190 August PRG Advisory Committee Meeting Location - EP - Yampa/Colorado Rooms Staff reminded everyone that the next Meeting is at Eagle Pointe due to Bison Ridge being closed for annual cleaning and repairs. 6. Consideration of New Topics & Potential Future Agenda Items This item was waived due to time constraints. 7. Community Engagement Updates & General Discussion Items This item was waived due to time constraints. 8. Council Member Reports & Information Recent City Council meeting topics have included the reduction of fire suppression building requirements and understanding impact fees and navigating potential changes. 9. Committee Member Reports & Information Member Grandinetti noted that the Youth Commission Town Hall event was being moved to October, and more information will be available in September. 10. PRG Announcements Commerce City Page 2 Parks, Recreation, and Golf Meeting Minutes - Final July 15, 2025 Advisory Committee Recreation Manager Duda discussed various upcoming events from the list distributed to all members via email on July 9, 2025. 11.
