Douglas Pledge of Allegience Approval of Minutes Min 23-193 July 06, 2023 Planning Commission Minutes Attachments: 7.6.23 minutes A motion was made by Commissioner Biltoft, seconded by Commissioner Japp, that this Minutes be approvedVOTE: Ayes: 4- Commissioner Amador, Commissioner Biltoft, Commissioner Japp and Alternate Commissioner Douglas Abstentions: 1- Commissioner VanDijk Case(s) Pres 23-492 Reunion Village 8, Filing No.1 Attachments: Continuance Request Commissioners Garret and VanDijk motioned to remove the first item of the agenda Commerce City Page 1 Planning Commission Meeting Minutes - Final August 1, 2023 Commissioner VanDijk motioned to approve the new agenda with the first item removed This Presentation was discussed and closed Pres 23-493 Commerce City 2045 Comprehensive Plan Attachments: Memo Commerce City Comprehensive Plan Ordinance City Attorney, Matt Hader, presented the case and city staff presenting Commerce City 2025 Comprehensive Plan draft. Planning Manager, Jennifer Jones and applicant, Josh Koonce, Senior Planner, House Seal Lavigne, presented the case There was conversation from the board touching on art district added and unique housing options, approval timeline, and other plans with the city There was conversation how the Comprehensive plan would be final with City Council approval and the timeline approval. Comments were made on the other plans with City Engineer, Parks and Recreation, and Economic Development. Seeing no virtual comments or members of the public, Chairperson called this for a vote. Vice Chairperson: Move that we approve the comprehensive plan to City Council approval of this comp plan by city council Ayes: 5- Commissioner Amador, Commissioner VanDijk, Commissioner Biltoft, Commissioner Japp and Alternate Commissioner Douglas Board Business none Attorney Business Principal Planner thanked board member for attending.
