Call To Order/Roll Call Present 8 - Regular Member Billy Gurr, Regular Member Catherine Brady, Regular Member Ed Hanson, Regular Member Jeff Ray, Regular Member Jennifer Prather, Regular Member Laurel Eller, Regular Member Sheryl Carstens, and Regular Member Tonia Lopez Excused 1 - Regular Member Charles Dukes 2. Standing Items Strategic Plan Prather has submitted an application to be able to host a fundraiser with Dion's. The goal is to be able to promote it during June's Neighborhood Outreach, so event would be sometime in late June or July. Minutes 03/26/2019 Attachments: Minutes This Minutes was approved 3. Scholarship Review The Quality Community Foundation will award a total of 3 scholarships to students for the 2019 cycle. A total of 15 applications were received. Applications were scored based on criteria established by board members and application instructions. After discussion, Eller motioned to award scholarships to top 3 scores. Gurr seconded. Motion was unanimously approved. Staff Liaison will contact recipients and announce winners. A recognition of the students will take place at the June 3 City Council regular meeting. 5. Golf Tournament Gurr gave an update on sponsorships and number of players. Currently at 8 sponsorships and 34 golfers. 6. Announcements and Upcoming Events Board is unable to attend and participate in the Memorial Day Parade. Neighborhood Outreaches June 13- Ray will lead. Lopez and Hanson will attend and will help for a bit. Eller and Dukes will bring an initial plan in May to start planning conversations around our fall event, Painting for a Purpose. 10.
