Call To Order/Roll Call Present 6 - Regular Member Billy Gurr, Regular Member Catherine Brady, Regular Member Ed Hanson, Regular Member Jennifer Prather, Regular Member Laurel Eller, and Regular Member Sheryl Carstens Excused 2 - Regular Member Charles Dukes, and Regular Member Tonia Lopez 2. Standing Items Carstens shared the latest financial report. No action was taken. Members debrief recent fundraisers; Touch-a-Truck and Dion's. Touch-a-Truck fundraised about $200 and Dion's night fundraised $233.16. Upcoming fundraisers; Chipotle, August 20 and Painting for a Purpose, October 24. Strategic Plan Per goal number 1, Board Development, Prather shared a draft Demographics document for consideration when seeking new members. An onboarding process will also be implemented. Prather also created a QCF Board Member Financial and In-Kind Self Reports in order to stay consist with by-laws and have member contributions recorded. Members are to bring back ideas for a team-building activity. 3. Approval of Minutes Meeting Minutes for May and June motioned to approve by Gurr. Seconded by Brady. Action was approved. Minutes 06/25/2019 Attachments: Minutes 4. Fall Fundraiser Eller went over the planning spreadsheet with the group. Key items have been completed such as; flyers have been completed and facility space has been confirmed. Eller brought back a few theme options, members asked for an example of their state painting. Other Future spring event (in place of the Golf Tournament). Potential new events: CC bar crawl, Fun Run (5k race), axe throwing, clay shooting, a city-wide restaurant dine out, night activity fun at the golf course, food themed cook-off (bbq, tamales, or other), treasure hunt, family triathlon. Other event ideas to add to already existing fundraisers, back to school themed silent auction, pancake breakfast, volunteer or organization recognition Gala Gurr commits to sending more info by August 19 in order to take a vote by our next board meeting. 6. Announcements & Upcoming Dates Neighborhood outreach, August 8. Laurell, Gurr and Hanson will be in attendance. TA workshop, September 17. 7.
